Coppermine email config

Hi

am trying to get coppermine gallery to send a new user the verification email but its not working.
have tried leaving the 3 fields
SMTP Host (when left blank, sendmail will be used)
SMTP Username
SMTP Password
all blank but that doesn't work
Have also tried setting SMTP to localhost (with user/pass blank) which is what my phpBB forum uses but that doesn't work either.

Any suggestions????

Hi,

When you say its not working is the user simply not receiving the mail or does the page itself error when it tried to send?

There could be a number of reasons why the mail is not getting through, if you would like to put on a support ticket one of our staff can investigate the issue a little deeper.

hi

the user never recieves an email from the registration process, there is no error displayed on any page.
