| Currently I am having a problem with sending mail (with attachments) to yahoo mail users through anyone of my accounts when using a PC based mail application like outlook or thunderbird. Reading up on it, its apparently the yahoo spam filters blocking or delaying the message because of the ip address(delay always ends as a failure) .I have contacted yahoo concerning this, but to be frank there help was of little or no use at all. I have 5 domains and all results are the same. However, if i use yahoo webmail with these accounts added on, it's not a problem. Therefore does anyone know if the problem is the mail server address or my isp address? also, is anyone else having the same problem? Regards ITB Last edited by in the bag : 10-14-2007 at 08:38 AM. |

| Hi, We are not aware of any problems like this, is it only with attachments? or does it happen with normal mail as well. Also is it any particular type of attachment? If you would like a member of the technical staff to look over this issue please submit a support ticket in the members area. Admin |

| Hi, Like i said, i dont know if the error is my isp. Since coming away from outlook etc, we have set the automated replies to junk, however, i managed to retrieve a copy of the yahoo deferred automated reply. This particular mail had a .jpg attachment, i tried forwarding the same mail to another yahoo user from a couple of other domain accounts and got the same. I have also noticed it happens when a hyperlink is in the mail (without an attachment). Heres a copy of one of the replies (it's a bit old as i we have been deleting them), and when i contacted yahoo, they just say read the contents of the header??? I havn't raised a ticket or contacted anyone yet as i didn't want to feel that i was wasting anyones time. Any other account (googlemail etc) is OK. ![]() last message Quote:

No the original was on outlook, which i have un-installed. But i set it up again yesterday and sent one to an old yahoo account i have, which never got there (that was last night), so hopefully I will have received a "delayed mail" when i get in, which i can forward. Do you think it's worth me raising a ticket? or, as im thinking it's my ISP ip address causing the issue and would therefore be wasting your time? I only posted on here (wrong section i know) just to see if anyone else was having a similar issue.... | |
