You can try with the auto configure the worst it will do is just fail, I have always found the cpanel auto configure to be a bit temperamental anyway so if you can manually configure the client its probably best to do it that way.
The details you need to use are:
incoming server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
username: mail+yourdomain.co.uk
then the password that you chose when you setup the account.
