On cPanel under Email > Add/Remove/Manage accounts, when Configure Outlook is clicked then "Auto-Configure Microsoft Outlook® for POP3 Access", a dialogue appears saying it will configure
Outlook Express. Further dialogues appear including changes made to the registry then a Run, Open or Cancel box appears. I have cancelled each time as I want to clarify before going ahead. The dialogue is exactly the same if the "Auto-Configure Microsoft Outlook Express® for POP3 Access" is clicked.
Therefore will Auto-configure only configure
Outlook Express and not Outlook?
The manual settings are given too - username, incoming and outgoing mail server addresses etc.
I have added an account
mail@mydomain.co.uk
The introductory email tells me mail.mydomain.co.uk for POP and SMTP but not what the email address or pasword would be would be using those settings.
